Meet Derrika Denise

Derrika is a lover of colors and all things beautiful. She is an Arkansas Native who graduated from Paul Mitchell Cosmetology school in 2012. Derrika has always had an interest in hair; she started styling her own hair in the fifth grade! As years went by she continued teaching herself many methods of styling and chemical services, and upon graduating high school she decided to continue her education and pursue a career in cosmetology.

In 2016 Derrika decided to leave her comfort zone and moved to Dallas, Texas. This location change exposed her to many career opportunities and a tremendous increase in her clientele. She participated in several fashion shows and events that showcased her many talents.

Hungry for more, Derrika decided to take another leap of faith in 2018 and moved to Los Angeles, California. In less than a year Derrika gained a substantial clientele, including socialites such as Aliya Janell, Rosa Acosta, Nikki Benz, Jasmine Brand, E.J. Johnson, JoJo Gomez, and many more.

She found it difficult to track hair for her and her clients at times. Many local hair companies were either always out of stock or sold low quality hair at extreme prices. She decided to research and test many vendors so that she could stop relying on other businesses to provide great hair to her clients and customers. 

Derrika's personality is as colorful as her hair. She wanted her brand to be nothing less.
